Sea Creatures and Mormons in Mendocino!
Sea Creatures and Mormons in Mendocino! Video Clips. Duration : 9.13 Mins.
Welcome to my travel vlog channel! This here is just a smattering of photos and clips from my trip to California earlier this summer, and serves as a nice intro to what I hope will be many more travel videos to come! I'm only an amateur, but all the animal photographs I took myself (yes, scientific names should be italicized, but iMovie wouldn't let me). I was borrowing my parents' Sony SLR at the time (which is kind of meh... imo, Sony is not a good choice for SLRs, but they did not consult me before their purchase :-) but I have since acquired a beautiful Nikon D80 with 80-200mm f2.8 lens from my friend (and former MSc advisor). I hope to get some good use out of it sooner rather than later, but definitely for another wildlife watching trip with this same group (Searcher Natural History Tours: www.bajawhale.com) early next spring when the gray whales are migrating by California. Many thanks to Emily for hanging out with me in SF and on my short trip up the coast to Mendocino, those were some really breathtaking landscapes! (and sorry for all those treacherous mountain roads that were supposed to be short-cuts!) Music: Fraoch a Ronaigh (personal recording/cover in the style of Mouth Music) I Left my Heart in San Francisco (Tony Bennett) Perhaps Vampires is a Bit Strong, But... (Arctic Monkeys)
